The standard 2-way radios carried by the SG teams in their tactical vests is the Motorola Visar Non-DTMF. It is the version without the keypad.10 years ago, when the series started, these were top of the line two-way radios, but they are increasingly difficult to find, even on eBay, and when you do they are fairly expensive. I'm still looking for a non-functioning one for my costume, but haven't been able to find anything under $80.
Even the SG-1 teams no longer use this radio, as is demonstrated in this posting thread at the Stargate6 forum: New radios on SG-1 started by Riceball. Those guys over there really know their stuff!
